Definitely don\u2019t cancel on your date unless you absolutely have to, otherwise they will be unlikely to give you a second chance.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dress appropriately.<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019re going to a nice restaurant, don\u2019t turn up in shorts and flip flops! Equally if you\u2019re just going to a caf\u00e9 for a coffee, there\u2019s no need to wear a suit! Make eye contact.<\/strong><\/p>\n You\u2019re much more likely to connect with the other person if you make eye contact. They\u2019ll know you\u2019re listening and are interested in what they\u2019re saying, rather than looking around the room and not paying attention.
